Privacy Policy

Last updated 29 July 2026.

Naviqon AS takes privacy seriously. This policy explains which personal data we process when you use naviqon.no, contact us or complete the AI maturity assessment.

Data controller

Naviqon AS, company registration number 935 750 210, is the data controller. Questions about privacy and requests concerning your rights can be sent to post@naviqon.no or made by phone on +47 998 72 000.

When you contact us

When you email, call or request a conversation, we process your contact details and the content of your enquiry so that we can respond and follow up on your request. The legal basis is normally that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a possible agreement, or our legitimate interest in handling relevant enquiries.

The AI maturity assessment

The assessment collects responses about the organisation’s AI practices, your role, organisation size, area of responsibility, industry, name, organisation, work email address and, optionally, phone number. The information is used to calculate and display an indicative result, administer the submission and follow up if you expressly request it.

The result is a rule-based, indicative assessment. It is not a scientifically validated analysis or an automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Do not enter special category personal data, confidential information or personal data relating to other people in free-text fields.

The legal basis is to provide the assessment you requested and, for any follow-up, your explicit choice in the form. The information is not used for newsletters without separate consent.

Retention period

  • Submissions from the AI assessment and ordinary enquiries are normally deleted or anonymised no later than 12 months after the last relevant contact.
  • Information forming part of a customer or contractual relationship may be retained for as long as necessary to follow up the agreement.
  • Accounting and documentation records are retained for as long as required by law.
  • Technical backups and logs are rotated in accordance with the established procedures of Naviqon and its suppliers.

Suppliers and sharing

Naviqon uses suppliers for services including web hosting and WordPress operations, forms, backups and email. These currently include Hostinger, Fluent Forms/WordPress and Microsoft 365. The suppliers process information only when necessary to provide their services, and Naviqon uses appropriate agreements and security measures.

We do not sell personal data. Information is otherwise shared only when necessary to provide a requested service, when you have asked us to do so, or when Naviqon is legally required to share it.

Cookies and technical data

The website may use necessary cookies and technical logs for security, forms, login and basic operation. Login cookies mainly apply to administrators. If we later introduce analytics, marketing or other non-essential tracking, visitors will receive clear information and a genuine choice before such technology is activated.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, or object to the processing where the applicable conditions are met. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Contact post@naviqon.no. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Changes

This policy is updated when the services or processing activities change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
